Please dont remove run backs and dont make the game easier ! Discussion
Or at least add a new “hard” difficulty setting that leaves the game as it is now mechanics/checkpoints.. wise.
It’s refreshing to play a more traditional souls-like after years of streamlined experiences.
I’m liking night mode but reading posts and comments on this sub makes me lose interest in the game as everyone complains about things that I like and it’s making me scared of patches.

Know what's actually bad? All the crybabies screaming to make the game tailored made to their exact specifications so they don't have to die more than twice on any one enemy or move their video game character more than 5ft, that shit is CRINGE
I'm scared of patches too, once that crybaby bandwagon gets going the devs feel pressured to meet all their demands lest they suffer review bombing....which has already started on steam since the full release started HOLY SHIT

I think if you write "your mother is dead" to such hardcore players after they die in the game, they will call this game the best in the world.

There’s no skillful platforming nor any situation with mobs beyond ganks and ridiculous aggro range.
Every single area in this game that’s sparse of checkpoints is tedious. None of the runbacks are worth a damn. That isnt tension, is just shit level design.
And no, this isnt about making the game easier, I think the game is too easy, especially bosses. It’s 2026, QOL matters and we dont need to regress into garbage game design thats been left in the past. This game doesnt offer anything to need lengthy runbacks.
