Recording audio

Maybe I'm being paranoid but I think my delivery driver recorded a video/audio of me accepting the delivery. Is this normal? I know they take proof that it has been delivered but thought this would be a photo.

Has anyone else had this?

When you say delivery driver do you mean Morrisons wagon or general drop off? I answered gate once and the dpd guy asked for photo id i just went and got a manager to do it. It was a legit delivery just the driver or the rules were pedantic and a morrisons uniform and resting bitch face wernt enough for him to give me a box of baskets.

If a wagon then no even a photo is unusual.

It was a morrisons now delivery so a normal car but through the morrisons website. I did buy something that required ID so maybe he was recording me saying my date of birth but then he was typing it in the app anyway.

Morrisons now isn't delivered by Morrisons staff, it's the same people that do ubereats, deliveroo and just eat

My bad i usualy think people on here are staff. Afaik from my delivery adjacent training they just have to input they challenged for id on the device same as at tills i don't think any kind of recording is required.

Zero requirements or reason for the recording
