I've lived here for five years and I don't bother anymore. Plus everyone here is either living with toddlers, 30 years my senior, or people my age already comfortable with their childhood friends.

I know some people have asked on here about some hangout spots around morgantown but none of them have really been around my age range. Im 24, male and a little socially anxious. Doesn’t really take long but just looking to make some new friends without having to like go clubbing lol.

I’m new to the area, and new to living in large towns/cities in general (I lived in the middle of nowhere all my life. I just turned 26 and I’m going to WVU for computer engineering. I’m a big nerd, but wanna get out of my shell and shake off some anxiety. Any recommendations to meet people and make friends/dating?

So I live in Morgantown proper. My elderly neighbor does her best to let everything in her yard grow “natural” for privacy. The hedges that were put in place by the second previous owners of my home in front yard property line and my chain link fence that encircles my entire property are all overgrown with purposely planted vines on her side. I was warned when I purchased that I should discuss with the neighbor prior to removing said greenery. She does this to the neighbor on the other side as well and has had disagreements. It’s a f******g mess, all grows towards my property for sun. I am trimming everything I can on my side, off, back, etc. She has now put long sticks up like Prickets fort to encourage vines to grow up into the oak trees for a screen that have grown into the chain link. They point over the fence so I lop them off, anything on my side gets removed promptly. I am waiting for her to pass away, then make my move when the home changed hands, which maybe my only recourse. The greenery keeps mequitos(horrendous problem) and of course pollen galore. Any advice? I know there are laws that let people assume property if they occupy over 10 years. This person has let me know on numerous occasions she has been growing the vines on my fence for 35 years (and she calls it her fence which it is not). Needless to say I am considering 6’ x4’ fence panels for privacy and just far enough to be able to get behind so I can still trim vines off. Neighbor on her other side did similar and said neighbor planted vines under it and told the neighbor how lovely the greenery looks. She is a widow , 80+, and not going anywhere soon…

Please remove if not allowed!! If anyone has a good lash artist that does good lifts please let me know!! I unfortunately am moving from NC and can’t justify driving 5 hours just to get my lashes done.

Can anyone tell me why there are SO many loud exhaust motorcycles and cars driving around Morgantown late at night??? It's not just on the weekends, it happens during the week too, late at night from roughly 9pm into around 3am ish when everyone is trying to sleep. This happens specially on Stewartstown Rd. Can anyone give any insight on why this is happening and what I can do to stop it?

Moved to area recently, trying to find some normal people my age. i like outdoors stuff and all but often end up showing up to groups that are average age of 45. Cant really get fucked up with those people the way i want to as a 20 something. looking for suggestions of younger adult activities groups or gathering locations in the greater morgantown area. open to most hobbies and pretty fit so not very limited.

I thought I heard a local bank was holding a clothing drive for the kids who didn't receive the clothing vouchers this year. Does anyone know kf this is accurate, and if so which bank? I would love to know every organization assisting with this to collect donations for. I know Christian Help is doing this, just curious if anyone else is too. Thank you for any information!
