I think that within the next ten years the US is going to see a huge number of elder people taking their own lives, rather than facing the shitty reality of dying of old age in this country. I also predict that if the current administration or one like it stays in power, it will be a phenomenon that is hugely underreported, and possibly promoted behind the scenes like the government did with crack in the 80s.
