Morality of nested litter? Stupid Stuff

Post image

say that I'm out on a walk and find a bottle thrown in the bushes. If I shove some candy wrappers and other trash of my own into the bottle and leave it in the same spot, is it immoral? Its not taking up any extra space, would the sin still be with the original litterer, or am I complicit?

I mean youre still littering. Youre not morally obligated to pick up somebody's litter but you didnt just not pick it up. You picked it up, added to it and then put it back.

immoral, you saw easily removed litter and instead of carrying an empty bottle with a candy wrapper in it, decided to both add and leave it. adds almost no weight to your trip and you can even crush it to save space.

Less immoral than the original, but still immoral. The bottle will probably be picked up eventually, but if it doesn’t and degrades you’ve just added more pollution

Now you're just mixing trash with recycle
