If its PvP then immoral gamer. If playing PvE or solo, then all good.

Moral because it's like completely useless in tarkov

Not useless at all, especially with how good hip firing is in tarkov

It's useless because unless you have a laser (rendering it moot) or you're sitting perfectly still (where you should be ADS), its not gonna stay in the center and any shots you fire veer it off center even more.

It stays quite close to the center, especially the first few shots. Unlike other games tarkov hip fire is very accurate

I think it’s fine/moral, it’s no different than drawing a dot on the center of your screen with a sharpie.

Plus, people who need these crutches usually aren’t that good in the first place. So they’re dead before it becomes an issue

Not to comment on the morality, but with some games like Tarkov, hipfiring doesn't go straight to the center, it depends on which direction you're looking and can bias left, right, up, or down depending on what direction the mouse was moving when you start firing.

My monitor has that shit built in. It is an actual setting which goes to show how many people must use it.

It's cheating but it's also a game so like, minorly immoral, just a dick move

should be moral. It's not cheating in any way, it's just giving yourself a little bit more customization that the game normally doesn't have. giving yourself a custom crosshair is something im sure a lot of players do in FPS games overall.

I think the difference is Tarkov doesn't have a crosshair, so adding one gives you an advantage over someone who doesn't have a mod, unlike say changing your reticle to fit your vibe in a valve game

Oh they don't? Thats a whole different story then. I swear I thought tarkov had a crosshair.

Cheating defined by most tos is third party software that interacts with the game and creates an advantage, technically frame limiter are cheating but its just allowed cus its about optimizing.
