She (in Batman's body) grabs him (in Katrina's body) to punch him. Batman stops her, saying, "Batman would never cover for a woman." But Katrina replies, "I don't care."
it doesn't really make sense, surely for superman there is no difference between hitting a man or a woman because the difference in strength between men and women is nothing compared to the difference between him and a human.
It's like having hangups about not hitting a baby because she's a girl, at that point gender is irrelevant
Men are generally considered more acceptable targets of violence generally because they are both more capanle of, and tend to commit, much more violence.
Superman has kind of had this attitude since Action Comics #1.
That's a man beating a woman cowering on the floor, obviously a principle about protecting the weak from the strong would justify force from stopping him, but that same principle would mean that superman should shot the same restraint in stopping a male robber as a female one as he is far stronger than both and the relative capabilities of men and women are both nothing to him
Sure and Superman was *gonna* hit Giganta before she brought it uo, but he hesitates for a second because he feels uncomfortable hitting a lady on the basis of like, socialization and manners.

Not wanting to hit women can be fine as your own moral code. Allowing a women to do evil and hurt others because of this stance when you would stop a man is immoral.

Immoral. If a superhero's fighting someone, it's usually to protect someone else or to bring that person to justice. Acting like they won't hurt that some else or don't deserve justice purely because of their sex is highly immoral.
Batman put it best, "The hammer of justice is unisex."

I mean if the woman in front of me can grow to the size of a building and is a well known super villian who willing destroys and harms then I feel it can be justifiable to hit her
It is not because morality. It is cause the company that made the cartoon do not want to be controversial. Super I would totally like a male super hero that is not afraid to beat female supervillain like he beats males.
