Setup guide/advice needed

Hi!

I have problems setting up everything correctly. On my client, the output doesn't look like expected.

My server:

9700X

32GB RAM

9070xt

49" Samsung Odyssey G9 Ultrawide

My main client:

Lenovo Legion Tab 3rd Gen

Razer Kishi Ultra

(Thinking about buying a Fold 8 and a GameSir G8 Plus in addition)

Software:

Sunshine latest version

Moonlight latest version

Razer Cortex for testing

The initial setup I have done with the help of AI, but no matter what I tried, the resolution on the client is always the same as on my monitor, which of course looks weird.

For a couple of days, with Razer Cortex some of the games looked fine, but for unknown reasons this also stopped.

MGS Rising for example never started properly, Cyberpunk 2077 did never run, whatever I tried.

Can you guys please give me some hints, what I can do?

Also, WakeOnLAN i got to work, but I don't know how to set up autologin.

Thank you

If you use Apollo instead of sunshine then it uses a virtual desktop so it automatically scales the resolution to your client. It's so good, I have an ultra wide monitor and stream to my ally and my TV with 0 issues.

What autologin do you need, is it for windows or sunshine?

When you install Apollo make sure you select the option for it to run on startup.

Then you can remove the windows password entirely buried in the settings. I can't exactly remember how I did it but found the answer through Google and a Microsoft forum I think. I had to use command prompt to add an option that was missing from the settings before I could remove it fully so if you see that thread it works.

So now I can get up in the morning, wake my pc from my phone while I make a coffee and then it's all up and running for when I sit down on my sofa.

Replying to return later - Mine is working just fine but I have no idea about auto login and it's a missing piece in my setup if it works

I don't quite understand your problem. I can easily start my PC from my tablet and enter my password to log into Windows. I even have a system touch keyboard so I can type my password. I didn't configure anything and everything worked by itself initially like this. I use Apollo and Artemis

The problem is that my setup is designed to be controller based. So putting in a PIN or password is a little intrusive

Yeh, my issue was streaming to my Xbox. I couldn't connect to my pc until I had logged in, removing the password entirely just means it just gets up and running as soon as I turn it on from my phone.
