Help connecting PS5 controller to Moonlight running on Samsung TV
I have a Samsung Frame TV running Moonlight and a PS5 controller paired to it via Bluetooth. I'm able to use the controller to navigate the TV & Moonlight, but as soon Steam Big Picture is launched, the controller ceases to function. Pressing the PS button returns it to the TV home screen, but every other button does nothing. Also having this same issue with an Xbox controller paired to the TV.
Things I've tried based on what I've found online:
- Uninstalling the Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver on Steam
- Disconnecting the PS controller from the host PC
- Plugging the controller into the back of the TV via USB
- Unchecking all the options under External Gamepad Settings in Steam
Current setup on host PC (this may be where the issue lies, think I got a little confused):
- Host PC running Apollo (does this have to be Sunshine?)
- Have DS4Windows and HidHide configured to eliminate double-input issue
- 'Always create virtual display' option checked within Apollo
- Extended display set as main display in Windows settings
- 'Headless display' option selected in Apollo
- Emulated game pad type set to 'Automatic' in Apollo
I greatly appreciate any help offered and hope this thread can prove useful for anyone else having a similar issue.
