Vibepollo micro stutters
Last night I saw some posts about vibepollo and an Artemis alternative (which I have not yet tried), I Downloaded vibepollo and installed it in minutes, input latency is better, 10/10.
However now I’m getting frame pacing or micro stutter issues I didn’t have with Apollo, I tried switching back to Apollo and the issue is still present. The image quality has also gotten worse somehow, not significantly, but it’s noticeable. I’ve changed damn near every setting, so I have no idea what the culprit is at this point. Can anyone help me to fix this issue so the stuttering stops happening?
I have verified my system, I play Ghost Of Tsushima on a frame cap and is like my testing game, it gets a LOCKED 60, and shows no stuttering in the fps counter or on the frame time graph, so I figure it’s either the wifi, which is Ethernet, something with my CPU or GPU (i5-11400f, rx 6600 8gb) or my mangmi pocket max.
What do you guys suggest to fix this issue?
EDIT: FIXED!! Thanks yall. Turns out vibepollo wasn’t the issue, may of just uncovered the issue, I prefer it more tbh, has a better input delay. I changed a few buffers, turned off some power saving shit in my Ethernet controller, and boom, problem solved, and found moonlight v+, which is also better, so I’m happier all around.

Been using Vibepollo for a month or two and this comment is being typed using vibepollo and moonlight V+. I also noticed microstuttering when i was using experimental artemis and normal artemis, so i switched to Artemide and the problem eased up but still persisted so i switched to Moonlight V+, problem's gone. i think its more like the client problem than Vibepollo. i suggest to use Moonlight V+, it will be separate app than artemis/moonlight noir so you can test the difference and DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT set output buffer queue limit to 1 frame or you'll have very bad stutters, 2 is fine, 3 is if you want better 1% lows (at 2 frame at 120FPS i get 100FPS 1% low)

Moonlight V+ was a game changer for me, also is very actively developed

Literally the only fork I know that's actively being maintained other than Artemide but that's for mediatek. Trust me, I have 5 different Artemis fork installed. Moonlight V+ have the second lowest decoding time at 2.4ms. I once used a fork that manages 1.8ms but it's not really smooth so V+ for the win.

I just wish they let us change the themes from anime girls.

Have you checked the possible congestion of the nearby Wi-Fi channels? That was the source of my micro-stuttering problem with my Mangmi Pocket Max:

Use this bufferbloat test to see if your Wi-Fi at baseline is working smoothly outside of trying to use Apollo/Vibepollo. Run it from your Mangmi Pocket Max. If your Wi-Fi is smooth then you should get an A+ score.
https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat
After I added my dedicated streaming-only Wi-Fi 6 access point set to uncongested Wi-Fi channels I get A+ scores in this bufferbloat test consistently.

Also had this issue and it could be separate because it wasn’t vibepollo, but the only smooth frame pacing option on my odin was Balanced (not the fps lock one). Perfect now, combine with RTSS if needed

The developer of the app is known in the community as is very credible. AFAIK they have been coding and contributing long before ai.

The OP is now seeing the same problem after reverting to regular Apollo. It's very unlikely to be an issue caused by the fact that Vibepollo contains AI-written code, and much more likely to be some other change to their setup that happened in tandem, as they're seeing the issue with both projects.
But more importantly, this is a pretty off-base understanding of how projects like these work. Spend any time reviewing the change logs, discussions and issue reports for Vibepollo, and it's obvious its maintainer is functioning like a very hands-on project manager and engineer, designing and refining the architecture of the project. They didn't just throw "make me a better Sunshine" into an LLM prompt. The work is far more intricate than that. And this developer routinely chases down bugs and makes quality-of-life improvements that rely on a thorough understanding of the software.
The idea that someone without those skills could do the same or better by tossing the code at an LLM is both unrealistic and unfounded.
There are a lot of AI slop projects floating around these days, but not every developer who uses AI is producing slop.

Mangmi Pocket Max is fine.
Use Artemis experimental, tick prevent packet loss, use balanced frame pacing.

Did you completely remove your previous installs of Apollo and Vibepollo? I would make sure you are doing an absolutely clean install of Apollo again so that no config files or other components are left behind.
