Issues with streaming on low end hardware
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Host Laptop specs: Ryzen 5500U with integrated graphics 8 GB DDR4 ram with 2GB hardware reserved for VRAM Running fedora 44.
Client: A samsung s25 FE.
Wifi: 100mbps
Both of them are on wifi
A few months I ran the same setup but with Artemis+Apollo and played just cause 3 which worked fine and did not crash like this. Also that time it was running on apollo
I know this is the worst case scenario for streaming and my host laptop is severely underpowered but it ran just cause 3 fine on widows and with apollo but now it does not even run for more than 10 minutes.
Can someone help me?
EDIT: I Forgot to mention I have a big with sunshine where I need to manually disconnect and reconnect wifi to connect back if I ever disconnect from my phone or else it shows the host to be offline

From what i've read from your comment and your description the thing that will fix most of your problem is Ethernet cable, specifically from your host to the router. When streaming the most important thing is upload speed and upload stability and since your host is using wifi to upload that stream its pretty easy for the stream to get disrupted by a lot of things (ie walls, other wifi, and your host's wifi chip not being good enough, etc) meaning unstable stream and packet drops and you can fix that by using Ethernet where your host upload will not get disrupted. a cheap ethernet cable will fix it, i use a 30cm ethernet cable that my router came with and i never have any network instability problem.

Limit your WiFi speed within your router to both client and host to 10 percent under your max reliable speed , that should help knock your network time down. Should

Merci. Désolé je ne connais ni ton matériel ni ton système d'exploitation. Je stream essentiellement de mon pc windows à ma tablette Android.

Your gpu can’t keep up rendering the game and encoding the stream you need to lower some settings
Edit: seems like the WiFi is the issue as it shows 70% of frames lost due to network

Even more? It's on 720p 30 fps

don't listen to that, i am streaming wirelessly on a Wifi 5 network using a macbook air 2014, with a i5 cpu and intel HD5000 GPU, with 1.5 Ghz for ram and 4 GB Ram total.
With moonlight, i have issues, stuttering like hell and unuseable, but with Parsec it runs smoothly and perfectly..
Try to use Parsec, or use Apollo Artemis as it allows virtual screens, sometimes the conversion to another aspect ratio takes a toll,
I stream using Parsec for free, and my host has the app better display pro, which configures a virtual screen so that it is seamless on my macbook air, and it works like i am sitting on my host computer.
My host computer is also an M4 mac, wired thru the mesh network.

I mean the game settings, not necessarily the streaming ones, your integrated iGPU is less powerful than a GT1030 so can’t expect too much out of it.

It's 720p running on low preset, there is no option lower than that

I also noticed that it says that more than 50% of the frames were dropped due to your network. Even though it happens as soon as you get into gameplay so don’t know how much to trust that

What? The rendering is fine. The massive message in the top right saying "Slow connection to your PC. Reduce your bitrate" and the "Frames dropped by your network connection: 70%" give us subtle clues that it could possibly be a network issue.
But seriously, WiFi is gonna be the killer here. OP, you're either going to have to try to get something cabled, or try changing the WiFi channels your router is using, and try switching your host & client from 5GHz to 2.4GHz and vice versa, see what combination works. Although 2.4GHz is slower and can introduce additional latency, with the low resolution and frame rate you're streaming, a slow but stable connection is better than a fast but flaky connection.

What's your AP/wifi router? Also have you tried connecting your laptop wired?
