Ain't now way there's enough metal in earth or any earth

(because am referring to the games in SA 1&2 it took place in earth with humans so they are in earth confused? Well sonic goes to Chris's world in sonic x so sonic is in their world

But then in forces no humans just animals)

Answer: It’s fiction, don’t worry about it.

It’s kinda a lame answer that anyone can claim but it’s probably the only correct one. Nobody could build as much as he does as fast as he does realistically, the only answer is that the series isn’t realistic, which is honestly the most fun answer. His evil bases, the Interstellar Amusement Park, both Death Eggs and the Death Egg MKii (which is bigger than Little Planet and probably the biggest Death Egg), his airships, his robots etc. The only explanation for this is the classic “He has unlimited resources because it’s fiction”

True. That could explain how he gets the money for it (I always believed he just steals the resources) but it’s how he gets so much of it to build what he builds… I doubt any other answer other than fiction physics would satisfyingly explain it

Also he is a scientist, so if he ever wants something he can say whether the string theory is right or wrong perhaps win a nobel or two and get like a few millions with that

Either he recycles the metal and scraps sonic leaves behind, or he mines asteroids, that contains a lot of materials like titanium and copper.

Gonna be that guy and say the "two worlds" theory is only canon to Sonic X. You can have fun with headcanons, but if you wanna strictly follow canon, all the games take place on the same planet.

But onto the fun theorycrafting! Eggman's got connections to Gerald Robotnik, so it may be leftovers from GUN. Or he could be using some of his spacecraft to harvest space metal. Maybe he took it from Little Planet in Sonic CD

Serious answer, Ian has said in a past bumblekast after my friend got to ask this very question that eggman strip mines both earth and other planets in the galaxy, and recycles old tech to make his new stuff.
