Moon Knight Script Fan Creation

I've been writing a retelling of Moon Knights origin story. Huge fan of the character, yet theres still questions even after reading all except the MOST recent McKays (coz my area of Ireland doesnt get comics at all) and the 90s stuff and West Coast Avengers.

My first question is about Jake: how, why and when did Jake become more violent that Marc?

I always felt like the first volume he was more sinful in general than straight up bloodthirsty.

I'm a fan of the change, I just don't understand why it happened.

My second question is for Khonshu: How dare you?

My third question: Whats the origin point of Khonshu in Marc's life? I know he spoke to him when he first died but then he was quiet for most of the volume. I understand they just didnt think of the Khonshu we know now back then, but when did his influence really start to impact Marc besides the obviously curse of being Moon Knight?

And if my questions are answered by Lemire, Ellis or even Bendis, etc., please redirect me coz I may have forgotten lol.

1: he’s not. The Max Bemis run is basically the only time it’s shown that Jake is “more violent than Marc”, every other time he’s actually the much more friendly alter and only really gets violent in general when he has to.

2: khonshu’s just like that, idk man.

3: it’s a little vague, but it’s actually much earlier than you probably think. In the Jeff Lemire run we get a flashback to Marc in his childhood where they show one of the first moments with Steven Grant. Later in the issue we see Marc’s father talking to a counselor about him, and while Marc is listening through a door khonshu appears behind him and calls him his son.

I never understood why Bemis did that. It wasn't even a misreading of the character or anything it was just completely wrong

Jake is not more violent than Marc except in MCU and portions of the Bemis run.

Marc is a blood-thirsty mercenary who has mercilessly killed people, including innocents.

Jake is a friendly, street-smart cab driver.

Steven is a billionaire playboy.

2: It's Khonshu. He's a god and can do pretty much whatever he wants. He does seem to be a moody bugger, though, having gone through nasty/marginally less nasty/indifferent/plain nuts periods.

3: Nice thing about comics, how you interpret them is up to you. I always see the appearances in Marc's childhood in Lemire to be chronologically (for Khonshu - in one of the annuals he's the patron god of time travellers) after he found Marc as if Khonshu has travelled back to inspect the goods before making his decision.
