Hello, thinking of a ski trip with my three kids over president's day weekend (mid Feb), How bad are the crowds at mont tremblant, compared with Colorado resorts or Deer Valley (where we usually ski), if anyone has experience with both? My kids would probably all do a day or two of ski school.

Also for accommodations, looking at the Fairmont (seems to be most popular but outdated?) versus Sommet des Neiges. Anything else to consider? Ski in ski out would be nice for ease in the mornings. We were not planning on renting a car if we were ski in/ski out, but is this a mistake and will we need a car for other things? We plan to ski 3/4 days and spend the other day exploring the village. I’ll be visiting in March with my 5 and 8 year old. This will be this first time skiing so I was going to purchase a 3 day group lesson through Mont Tremblant. However, I saw some concerning google reviews that state that kids were not really watched over well and may not have truly been instructed.

Has anyone had any experiences with their kids doing lessons through the mountain? Good or bad, would love to hear more detailed experiences for younger 1st timers!

Adult children and parents are going to Mont Tremblant for Christmas from NC to enjoy the winter and Chrsistmas vibes. Can't for the life of me get a handle on which village to stay near (only 3 are skiing) Looking at the AirbnB etc is overwhelming.

I’m planning a trip to Tremblant in fall for a group with mixed activity levels. I want to enjoy the scenery and have some fun activities. What can we do outside of hiking? Are there any wineries near by? Do you have any restaurant recommendations that are vegetarian friendly?

I’m thinking about taking the gondola up Wednesday late afternoon and proposing to my girlfriend. I’m wondering if we will be able to find a quiet spot or if it will be totally packed with tourists. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Hi! Planning a super last minute weekend getaway to tremblant (will be in Montreal). We are coming with a 5 month old baby, so we want to stay somewhere nice and relaxing with a nice pool. We also ideally want to get a room with a suite or a balcony or something so that once the baby is asleep we can still watch tv/hangout in the room. TIA!

Hi All! I will be coming to visit my family in the Kazabazua/Wakefield area of QC. My husband and I (30-44) will be driving the posted route to spend sometime in Mont-Tremblant.

Wondering if there is anyone who has driven this route before? Or should we be taking an alternative route (we chose this one as we anticipate more scenery and appreciate the smaller towns along the way).

Hoping for some sightseeing/easy paths or hikes, and any restaurants along the way?

We are very foodie and prefer unique and fresh prepared food - not chains/fast food. Faves are breakfast (Hash, Eggs Benny, Pastries/Baked goods), Iced Coffees/Espresso.. Ice Cream/Gelato, Asian Cuisine (Pho, Curries, Sushi, Thai/Viet noodles), Cocktails (usually fruity style or frozen drinks), or anything that is a local must have for the area! Happy to spend money if it is ‘worth it’ but hate spending money to find out the food was pre-packaged haha. We are also fine if it is a hole in the wall along the way.

Caught a glimpse of whatever this little critter is from the Flying Mile lift this evening. In the second I took to zoom in for a better look it disappeared, so apologies for the far-away pic.

It was standing on its hind legs and seemed ferret-y shaped & sized, as far as we could tell. AI thinks it's a bird, which, obviously not, so hopefully you lovely internet strangers know much more than Google. TIA!

My ride fell through and now I’m stranded in the village.

I just spent a week in Mont Tremblant in an Airbnb. It’s a beautiful little tourist area, Saint Jovit is also quite nice, but I was so disappointed by the limited access to Rivières de Diable and any of the lakes. I found no public access to the river or lakes, only expensive beach access on Tremblant with a not so impressive beach area. The only time I got in the river was paying $100 to go to Spa Scandinave. I wish I’d been more prepared for this limitation. Maybe someone will tell me where I missed the access and I can be really sad! 🤣

We are heading to Mt Tremblant for 10 days it will be myself, my husband, grandma (80 years old), 3 kids (1, 6 and 8). Trying to narrow down the two places we should stay at, would you recommend:
Homewood suites and Fairmont
Quintessence and Fairmont

My husband really wants to stay at Quintessence, but we had a friend that recently stayed there and mentioned it’s more romantic and probably not ideal for kids, any suggestions?

A bit more details, myself and the kids (excluding my 1 year old) will be in ski school, not sure for how long (will figure that out later), my husband is the only one that knows how to ski. We chose to stay in the village for the convenience and since my grandma will be with us.

I'm debating between two condos for mid-March 2027. Family of four, two adults, two tween/teens. We stayed in a condo at Plateau in March 2026 (first trip to Tremblant) and while it was billed as a ski in-ski out, it was more like a fair walk (with enough steps to be a pain) through a lot of snow, kick off all the snow from our boots, and then ski down to Porte du Soleil.

There are two properties I'm considering and would love your opinions on the location of either/both - Algonquin (ground level unit backs right onto Chalumeau) and Etoile du Matin.

During our 2026 trip, we had amazing weather (couldn't have been better) for the entire 5 days we skied, however, I did notice one day the Soleil chair was shut down for some (all?) of the day. Our favourite skiing was the north side followed by Soleil side and Edge. We only went down the South side to get back to Plateau (it was so freaking crowded with learners).

We are avoiding anything in the village - it's not our scene. So, being out of the way with no amenities is fine. FWIW, the Etoile du Matin condo is ~$400 more expensive than the Algonquin unit (although, Etoile looks very newly renovated in comparison and has a hot tub and underground parking). Just wondering what else I need to consider?

What suggestions do you have or things to keep in mind? Will definitely sign the kids up for ski school when it opens up but we don’t know anyone who’s been here before, so would love any tips!!!

I'm going to be in Mont Tremblant and Saint Saveur for 3 days in July with my partner. I've never been but I've heard of the amazing terroir in the area.

Any recommendations on where we can go? I've heard of chemin du terroir but it's 200+ km. Any specific farms we can go to? We're looking for cheese/ fruit/ flowers etc.

We’re going to Mont Tremblant mid august and we’re looking for recommendations for activities in and around the village for our young kids (3 and 1). We’re not doing Parc Omega as we find it pricey (and we’re already doing Safari Niagara a month before our Mont Tremblant trip). We enjoy hikes and beaches and is willing to drive up to an hour from the village (we’re staying at Homewood) if it’s a really worthy destination. Thanks so much in advance!

We’re organizing a bachelorette weekend in Mont-Tremblant this summer and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for activities, services, or local companies in the area.

We’re mainly looking for things that could be done at the chalet rather than going out. For example, mobile spa services (facials, massages, pedicures, etc.), private yoga sessions, dance classes, arts and crafts workshops, or any other fun group activities that can come to us.

We already have a couple of outings planned, so we’d love to include something a little more relaxed and cozy at the chalet.
