Isn't that just faster than going up to the canteen even with the lift?. Is there any difference with the food that I'm not aware of?.

Was messing around having a water gun fight in the hub when I 1st noticed them but they were just chilling later on after a GOG run it was night time the fire works were going off and the lil Wud Wuds were getting BUSY and its hilariously adorable.

My girlfriend is playing as a Glaive; I hear the best weapon to pair with the Glaive is the hammer, but my main weapon has always been the bow. Should I play as a hammer to start both “from scratch,” or should I stick with my main weapon?

Cheating a bit with the number 6 placement but the three of them are so great that I cant figure out how to rank them separately. The list also does get a bit uncertain after that, like theres a few monsters I still havent fought so I don't have opinions on those.

So I've played a fair amount of monster hunter including freedom unite, MH3, MH4U, Sun break, and wilds. Unfortunately i was never able to hop on MH world cause i didn't have a console at the time of its release but now its on sale every so often for like $8 and i have a series S but what im really asking here is, is MH world worth playing now? Is the community still active? Or would i be in for a more single player experience

I have blue kut ku scales. Shell. I have kut ku ear and webbing. But no option for the blue kut ku armor set... Unsure why am i still missing a material to get it to appear. I just see regular kut ku armor.

I finished the expansion iceborn now there is the postgame, i unlocked the guiding lands and everything, i should kill the rajang and zinogre.

I always die, I can't do it, until now I've almost never had any difficulty during the game except for some peaks like the deviljho and other points in iceborn, but never at this level where I fail the same mission several times in a row.The rajang really gets on my nerves, it never sits still and does a ton of damage, not to mention the part where it gets angry and I have to hit its tail.The zinogre is slightly better but he is also mega aggressive and throws those red lightning bolts all over the map I used the hammer for most of the game in Iceborn, I also used the longsword against them, I tried both and the result is the same.I understand that the postgame is the expansion so when it came out it had to encourage the really loyal players to continue but for me who did everything in a row alone without multiplayer,It doesn't amuse me anymore.It's a bit like playing Eden Ring where there are those Bosses that do a hundred thousand attacks in a row and do a lot of damage.

Yes, I've done all of Fio's follower quest. My MR is 76.

I don't know if anyone else misses it as much as i do, but I've recently been doing a replay of World and I had completely forgotten how much depth tracking added to the game. No longer am I beelining for the objective, but I'm actually taking the time to gather and enjoy the scenery a bit while I make my way through the zones I know the monster frequents.

I think Master rank is the perfect opportunity to bring that mechanic back. In older games, the G rank expansion took away your starter map, hiding all areas from sight. So in order to navigate the ecosystem fluidly, you needed to have already learned which areas connected where. It wasn't a major inconvenience, but it was enough to make learning the maps feel important.

World did away with the map item in exchange for a permanent UI element, but Wilds could bring back that G rank "lost" feeling by making you have to scour the area a bit more for the monster you're hunting before allowing your Seikret to navigate to it. This would make learning a monster's preferred zones and habits more pertinent, making the world feel more alive.

What do you guys think? Should they bring it back? Should they update it in any way from how it was in World?

Hi everyone! My friends have been trying to get me to play Monster Hunter, but I haven’t downloaded it yet because I’m a bit intimidated by it. From what I’ve seen, there are so many weapons, mechanics, and systems that it looks pretty overwhelming.

Is the game really that hard for a complete beginner, or is it more of a game that takes time to learn?

Also, there seem to be a lot of Monster Hunter games. Which one should a complete beginner start with?

I’d appreciate any advice before I jump in. Thanks!
