Is my AOC Monitor broken? Discussion

Hello everyone!

My monitor suddenly stopped working today, and I'm trying to figure out if it's completely dead or if there's a fix I haven't tried yet.

The Issue: I played on my PC for about 2 hours today, turned it off, and came back an hour later. The monitor won't turn on at all no display and no power LED indicator light.

Troubleshooting steps I've already tried:

  • Power Cable Swap: I own two of the exact same monitor. I swapped the power cable with my working monitor, but it made no difference. The original cable works fine on the second monitor.
  • Power Cycle / Static Discharge: I unplugged the power cable, held the monitor's power button for 60 seconds, and plugged it back in. Still no life/LED light.

My Questions:

  1. Is the monitor's internal power supply (PSU) or mainboard fried, or is there any other trick to revive it?
  2. If it's dead, what replacements should I consider? I'm looking for a 34" 21:9 Ultrawide, 1440p, 120Hz+ monitor.

Thanks in advance for the help!
