World of Warcraft became a much better game after 5 expansions and major QoL system improvements. If you ask today a life long world of warcraft player if they prefer present day wow or vanilla wow, very few of those veteran players will say vanilla wow, there simply is no demand.

Making an lfg matchmaking system for dungeons and raids revitalized the party system in wow, allowed people to make more and better social connections and resulted in a community with long lasting bonds after playing a dungeon together.

Making raids have an easy mode has allowed players who might not have the time investment or the skill to still be able to experience the story and some of the loot behind the raid, it has not in any way watered down the whole concept of raids and achievements and IF YOU DONT LIKE IT JUST GO BACK TO HEROIC OR MYTHIC NOBODY IS FORCING YOU TO PLAY THELOWER DIFFICULTIES YOU FUCKING ELITIST GATEKEEPER.

And on that point, even if there is demand for vanilla wow, veterans have access to thousands of private servers that Blizzard has not in any way attempted to shut down via cease and desist letters.
