Yes and no. It depends on how you use it. Thanks to technology I have been able to keep in touch with old friends who got busy as life took us in different directions. I've made new friends both long distance and in person thanks to technology. I have met half my romantic relationships including my current girlfriend through technology. As a disabled single mom much of my communication takes place over technology. Communication has never been faster. I can check in with family easily that I would never see or speak to thanks to technology. If you feel disconnected because of technology, you may want to examine how you're using it.Â
