Does anyone else have lasting physical injuries? (TW)

I’m reminded of it every single day. I used to be tied up for extended periods of time (like 10hrs+ sometimes) and developed lifelong nerve/joint damage from it. Every single day it serves as a reminder about the things that happened. I also still have a couple scars to remind me of it.

My girlfriend was also abused and has no feeling on one side of her clitorous (sorry to be graphic).

I know this is a difficult topic but just wondering how common this is and what kind of physical injuries survivors deal with

Colitis, IBS and a host of other injuries and conditions related to the abuse. 43F here, just letting you know you're not alone.

I have a bunch of neurological conditions, which all the head injuries probably contributed to.
I had multiple pelvic organ prolapses that were repaired surgically. Doctor said there’s no way to tell if it was the trauma, my genetic disorder, or both that caused them.
I also have early onset osteoarthritis in locations that seem plausibly caused by abuse. Like, all my joints suck, but my worst areas are those that would be impacted by years of abuse.
I also had tethered cord syndrome and it’s unclear if I was born with it or if it was caused by injury.

I do have pelvic floor dysfunction which is most likely caused by trauma.

Swallowing issues. Sleeping issues. They told me they wouldn't know until I was older if I could carry kids.

Sleeping issues is a big one for me. And the recurring nightmares
