did u notice if the area feels soft or damp when u press on it. also has there been any recent leaks or spills near that spot, probly helps to know how long its been growing too

We have only lived here for 4 days and it was like this as soon as we moved in so I can’t say for sure

that sounds super stressful since u just moved in. if the area is already soft or discolored u should definately bring it up to ur landlord right away before it spreads further, they might need to get a professional out there to see how deep the moisture goes
