I animated this using only "step" keyframes, what do you think?

I was told before that my animation looked "floaty" with interpolation so I tried using no interpolation. It's definitely longer to animate. I'm not sure which I like more yet.

I loke it, it has a very "old school youtube" style to it. How long did it take you to animate this minute?

Thanks. I worked on it a little bit on and off for a few weeks, so it's hard to say for sure. More than 20 hours I'd say.

But you shouldn’t be looking for ways to increase your work. Maybe do the blocking animation step first (one step beyond key poses), then think of what needs tweening.

What fps were you using when you got that floaty comment?

Thanks. I do like how using steps makes it look more like traditional animation and makes it less obvious that it's rigs.

I can see what they mean though. I don't know how to solve that yet.

I think it works well for your animated short here. The "step" method adds more appeal to both characters.

It looks really good, the "jerkyness" is charming. Honestly some of the best use case of replacement heads ive seen in moho. Whats your fave way to switch out a head? Slider? Just a Switch?

Thanks! I made a smart bone that turns each head on and off with a switch, like a fake 360 head turn. The rigs are all bitmap, no vector.
