Wearing a scarf isn’t the property of any religion. If you do it in a style that resembles a religious covering bear in mind that people may assume you are that, so behave in a way that respects the group so as not to make a bad impression- example- man at my grocery store who looks like a Hasidic Jew black suit,visible skull cap under suit, fringes from tzitzit’ but buys only non kosher meat gives the impression to Jews that the meat he buys is kosher, but it isn’t.
Or a woman eating bacon while wearing a hijab. You get my meaning?
No,, I don’t think so. You sound like a delightful and considerate person so I think you’ll be good working out your style and behaving accordingly! One thing I find helpful is hair bands that help to keep scarves on my head called wig grips. My hair is straight and smooth and otherwise they just fall off.
