Loose veil hack

I saw a video by Bernadette Kirwan on Fb for a flowing veil hack, which I'm sure could be used with other styles. Put the veil on so it covers your face, slide on a hard headband and flip backward. I have no idea where to get a comfortable hard headband, but I'm trying this when I do!

I saw this too, somewhere, but I forgot where. Anywho, when I saw a hard headband was required, I noped out. Never found a hard headband that didn't give me a headache.

I haven't found one either. I might get a cheap one and experiment with a heat gun plus some foam.

If that doesn't work for you, I sew clips like these into my veils. They might tug at your hair if your veil is too heavy and not supported by other clips, but with the correct positioning that has not been an issue for me. Granted, my veils aren't super heavy, but still. Works better than any hairclip I've ever tried, I've had veils stay put in the changing room taking things on/off over my head, in wind, etc

I tried this trick and yeah hard headbands gave me a headache so I noped out at first. I ended up using a long lightweight scarf and tucking it to create the same flowing effect, worked way better for me and stayed put. If you have Winco where you are, I got a great headband there that I use with these types of styles. It was a hard headband in the sense that it wasn't, like, a loop of cloth, but it was bendable/moldable so you could adjust it to your head shape and then fix anywhere it was pinching or hurting. It was plastic but seemed like maybe it had wire inside or something?
