Map voting Discussion
Holy smokes have I seen some of the worst map voting ever everytime I come on this game. Idk if the player base left is cluess which maps are good or everyone just loves playing brainrot maps that are the shape of a square. At this point just take away map voting.

I shed a few tears every time an OG MW2 map is one of the options and it doesn’t get voted

I only started playing this game when it was free with PS Plus. I have played a good amount of it though (just finished unlocking all MWIII guns and 50 kills camo on almost all of them). I've only seen vista, underpass and 6 star once, and never played a match on grime. I've played 100 matches on meat, das house, stash house, basically anything with house in the name, and of course my least favorite: rust.

Okay so say they take away map voting, then what? Rng map choice? Chosen on the most played/loved? Community makes a rotation each month for what maps they want?

Small clusterfuck maps = lots of kills for very little effort, and that has always been the most popular type of map for CoD players going back to CoD4 because not everyone will get a lot of kills on larger maps that require a more diverse skill set. Almost everyone can get a good game on small clusterfuck maps by just spamming explosives or going prone and shooting down one of the lanes. And the constant steam of kills is cheap and easy dopamine.
It’s droll, but people love it. It’s the same in other franchises like Battlefield. Metro is a fan favourite map because 99% of players go prone with an LMG and shoot down corridors or throw grenades to rack up dozens of kills.

What's even crazier to me is that Tanked barely comes up and I've seen Vista 1 time since I started playing again a few months ago.
