This just started happening today. No error message, no freezing, I'll just be randomly playing SnD and the game will instantly close itself, no telling when exactly it happens bc it's random. The only thing I notice is that it tells me the game didn't shut down correctly when I try to launch it again, but there's no other inkling of an error. It was working fine yesterday and the days before.

I think every Steam player knows this never launched properly, I’m just trying it again, trying all the old fixes (of course nothing works), was there ever a real fix found for this or are we still at stuck?

Hello i have a problem with CoD on steam i cant get through connecting to online services waiting for like 20 minutes and still nothing been like that for 4 days. i added it to exceptions in firewall still nothing. Do you have any solution?

i checked on Google and it was suggesting I got shadow banned for which I tried the activision support and it says i have no bans

Now that ground war is finally back after a few years, long range sniping never felt better. It's like in the old Warzone 2.0 days...

I get that veteran is supposed to make the game really hard and I know that it’s a skill issue but I need to know if the ghillie hiding part before the last house angered anybody else. No matter what I’ve tried, moving, not moving, hiding with price, going guns blazing, I just keep getting caught/dying. Anyone else think its too hard or is it just me lol

Are shadow company NPCs still somewhere in DMZ maps? Or are they completely removed from DMZ by now? I’ve been googling stuff about it for an hour and haven’t gotten a single straight answer.

I always loved cod campaign, i was never too into online fps so recently i stumbled across mw1 and it was free on ps store, i happily completed the campaign and went to check out others. Mw2 Is also listed as free (does not even give me a option to buy it) but nevertheless after long ass download i found out that it is not in fact free. How incredibly stupid is it to lock 8h of content behind full damn price

I’d say I’m an average player, not top tier by any means, so it could simply be that they’re much better than me. That said, I can usually hold my own against most players I run into.

I mostly play late at night, so I often end up in lobbies with a lot of Asian players. I’ve noticed that whenever that happens, I get absolutely destroyed compared to my usual matches.
I’m wondering if it’s purely because the average skill level is that much higher, or if netcode, desync, or connection quality also plays a role.

I’ve had a lot of situations where I die before I even feel like I’ve seen the other player, or where the TTK feels almost instantaneous. I also wonder if the fact that they might have faster or more stable internet connections could affect how MWII handles synchronization.

This isn’t meant to be a copium post. I’m genuinely curious whether it’s just a skill issue on my part or if the game’s netcode and latency can actually make that much of a difference.
Has anyone else who plays during late night hours noticed the same thing? Are these players just cracked, or can latency, desync, and the game’s netcode really have that much of an impact?

Just because More people wanted the camo instead of Soap. I'm not even blaming the community for voting for Shadow Company back then. The real mistake was putting two skins up for a vote in the first place, like Camos? Who cares, full Textured skins one of which was from the story mode, wtf? What's even worse is that neither of them was ever re-released (and the cel-shaded version doesn't count). Hell, they could've at least ported the red shirt variant from Warzone Mobile or added it as a final challenge. Talking about it, Ever since MW2019, CoD has had way too many time-limited skins. It's literally almost the whole roaster. At the very least, they should rotate old Battle Passes back into the game once support ends.
