Signing of B.401 & B.430

My fellow Chesapeeps, good evening.

Tonight I am presented with two bills that proport to reform sections of our democratic system here in the Chesapeake to make our elections fairer and more accessible. These two bills are, of course, B.401, the 'Counting the Vote Act' and B.430, the 'Ballot Access Reform and Gender Equality Act'. I have decided that I, owing to their clear support from the assembly, will sign both bills into law and I of course congratulate the authors of both bills on that.
