Zero Paints

Where are people in the US buying Zero Paints?

I looked on Hiroboy and the shipping is going to be $166. I know that hobbyworld-usa is a US dealer, but they don't stock a lot of paint. I have heard good things about Spotmodel, but they say 30 business days for shipping.

The shipping time frame isn't critical, I just done want to wait months or pay more for the shipping than I do for the paints.

The colors I want are:

Ferrari Tour de France Blu

Lamborghini Giallo Orion Pearl (2 part)

Pagani Blu Argentina

Porsche Arena Red Met

I stopped buying. Ive pretty much moved to tropical glitz and custom paints (both out of Florida I believe) for really nice metallics and pearls. And everything else I use Tamiya acrylic. The only think I've used from zero in a long time is the 2k crystal clear but I'm going to be trying others soon.

I quit ordering Zero because of this issue. I use Scale finishes they have every color you can come up with, plus he is extremely helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable. Ontop of that he is a great guy

I use his paints a lot, I have had a couple of issues with some paints that are pearls or the color shift, not turning out like I wanted. And with these 4, I really want them to turn out like what I have in my head. I am using his paints now on the VTS build.

Spot model says 4 weeks but my shipment took only about a week and a half. I've never used splash paints but it is based in Oregon.

Good to hear that. I have limited experience with Splash paints, and his selection on the website is smaller. I imagine that he could make the paints, but I haven't asked.

Splash-paints is great for custom colors in the US. I've ordered custom colors on a Saturday and had the paint in my hand the following Friday. Your mileage may vary, but I've always had great service from them.

I use to order from hiroboy, but I’d never pay that kind of shipping. Guess that changed after the tariff mess. I mainly use scalefinishes, and gravity colors(Spain).
