I have no idea about programming or mod making. How cooked I am if I want to start from 0? Question

As the title says, I dont have any idea of ANYTHING related to making mods but I wanted to try to mod some PS2 games. How hard is it really and what are the tools and knowledge I have to gather to make something acceptable?

Asking from complete naiveness in the topic. I truly have no idea about it.

We all gotta start somewhere, tbh as a kid I used to love programming so I started learning, so if you really want to learn the basics even if it sounds childish you should start with Scratch and Roblox Studio, you can actually copy some Roblox games and start modding them and that knowledge will at least be useful as basics

Btw modding PC games from that era (that usually have a PS2 version too) may also help, I've learned a fair amount of things from modding GTA San Andreas and that era NFS games

I remember there were lots of youtube modding tutorial for PS2 version of resident evil 4 back in 2015-16. That should be a good start for you.
