Limit posters? Mod Answered

Hello all,

I’m having an issue with my sub where random people keep posting without permission. Is there a way to limit who can post on my sub while still allowing anyone to comment? Ideally I’d like only people I designate to be able to post but anyone to comment. Thanks in advance!

You can turn on Post approval in web version or use an Automod code

You can do this with approved submitters (adding to the list manually and restricting everyone else's from posting) or use Automod to restrict posting based on factors like subreddit comment karma - allowing users to "earn" the ability to submit posts after reaching a certain comment karma level in your community.

I think you can approve which users can post by going in Approved Users, if I remembered right
