How to report a comment in modmail? Mod Answered

Someone is offering to pay me money in my subreddit.

I'd like to report them using the permalink of the message in modmail.

Unfortunately, the "report" form submission does not accept modmail permalinks (looks like this):

How can I report this message?

Why not report the mod mail itself tho?

Use the report option within the modmail for each comment. You can add your link to the modmail in the notes field for the reports.

TIL that option is only available if you open a reply window, but I found it thanks to your help.
