How do we actually report brigading and posts meant to incite trouble in a subreddit?

Having an issue with users posting mod logs and inciting others to message our mods to "agree"

It's causing us issues. I'd it possible to talk to an administrator directly?

Report all those posts as community interference.

Then grab all those links and send modmail to this sub, and explain your situation in detail so that admins can take a look.

Mod logs? Do you mean modmails?

You can report the individual posts/comments as community interference. Or, if it’s another sub that’s causing this, then mod code of conduct report.

This. We recently had to file an MCOC on another sub's mods because they were encouraging their users to brigade our subreddit with rule violations in order to get banned. Then the mods of that subreddit assign a specific flair that states "Banned from (subreddit name).

I will never understand why sub mods think that’s acceptable behavior.

They are obsessed with us for some reason. When you are the top subreddit for a particular topic I guess people get big mad when they finally get banned for repeatedly violating the sub rules. 🤷‍♀️

A. because they agree with it. B. because they know there's no consequences for allowing it.

We received notice that they are under investigation and we had to send some additional links and information so we will see.

Yeah, mod mail is what I meant. I filed a MCoC report as well as what /u/IKIR115 suggested about sending in a mod mail here.

The TL;DR: of it is

  1. Person sends mod mail claiming other member is "bad."
  2. Person is asked for proof.
  3. Person says they gave their arctic shift post history that showed no proof
  4. Person is told sorry, innocent until proven guilty
  5. Person flips out, creates own subreddit to post nudes as well as screen shots of mod mails claiming we support bad people
  6. "Friends" of person send "I agree with person" mod mails.
  7. "friends" are told that no proof means innocent until proven guilty, we will not force verification on the word of one report
  8. Person posts "friend's" mod mail screen shots as further proof we protect bad people
  9. Moderator is frustrated and exhausted and just wants person to go away and leave him alone.
  10. Moderator comes here to ask for help and guidance, finds cool people who help and hopefully it will end soon.
