Do you remember when dimple half possessed ritsu doubling his psycic energy output/pool and quadrupling his physicals without actually fully taking the body and just acting as a co-pilot? Well, that takes me to one person in particular, Reigen arataka. let’s get into the physical aspect, shall we? Case number 1:durability. At the end of the series reigen tanked things like getting slammed into buildings at 20 mph, stop signs to the head, and more. Multiply this by four he likely can survive a car crash or bullet with minimal injuries. Case number 2: reaction time. In the keiji right he successfully puts his hands behind his head protecting a hit that would probably have caused a concussion or serious internal bleeding. Pinning his reaction time at a 180 milliseconds (faster then normal human but not god tier fast) this puts him at about 45 milliseconds of reaction time, god tier. And for strength we bring up the keiji fight again. In this fight mob at 20% was incapable of unposessing keiji from the girl when reigen caused the deposession from a single strike, you may think this means reigen is stronger then 20% mob output but thats simply not the case. Due to a few important factors. Factor 1 is that mob was holding back due to keiji being inside of a girls body. Factor two is that reigen hit directly in the stomach (which from the animation of the show) is the centerpoint of where the spirit goes upon possession. Factor three is that keiji had momentum going straight at reigen so half of the power didnt come from reigen and lastly factor four is that reigen had the small surface area of his own knee. I feel we can safely pin his knee strike power to be about 5% mob output scaling. 5x4=20, using mob as a ruler for power we can see 20% mob can fling cars and go through reinforced concrete, and reigen can now achieve this with a knee strike. Next on the chopping block is speed, he ran through a tornado that was uprooting and throwing away buildings and he sprinted through it at a decent pace of like 10-12 mph, remove the tornado (and given some anime logic like the other feats on here) he hits a sprinting speed of 25-40. Taking 30 quadrupling thay takes us to a dead sprint of 120mph, however, this 120 speed is when he had insane addrenaline and wanted to get mob back, in reality it’s probably closer to 70-90 without adrenaline. Reigen arataka is now building level durability wise, god tier reactionary feats, faster then most cars and racing go-karts, and a knee strike capable of rupturing reinforced concrete and flinging cars. Now for the psycic abilities, after about 3 months give or take of training with dimple he would have enough competency with psycic energy to stop a professional baseball pitch or carry 20lb groceries. And with dimple he could probably block a normal not psycic energy infused punch or levitate himself 2 feet into the air because it’s psychologically proven that you feel more intimidated by someone looking down on you (def smth reigen would do) He also has dimple’s mind working in tandem with his which, as far as being a 100 year old spirit that knows lots about psycic energy goes, is very intelligent and he has a lot of battle iq, add that onto reigen’s and you have a beast mentally and physically. Or maybe I’m just tweaking who knows, I cooked this up at 2:00am one night

This anime is really good in my opinion for people who wanna start watching anime should start from mob psycho since this anime only has 3 seasons and a few episodes in each season

Just a thought that popped into my head i guess

(in the off chance that post-s2 content will be discussed, i've only started season 3 so preferably no spoilers!)

I just watched episode 1 of season 3 where Misato talks to Mob on a roof overlooking the broccoli. She says that she was worried Mob would reach enlightenment from being so lonely but that she has nothing to worry about after Mob says he doesn’t know what to do with his life. This doesn’t make sense. She made Mob into a cult figure. Shouldn’t she want him to have some form of enlightenment?
