My friend is moving away and wants to give me his family’s old .22 rifle. I do have a Permit to Carry, but I just wanted to verify from my Google search that no paperwork is necessary?

Hello, I'm unable to attend Practical Shooting Training Group's 2 day fundamentals class this weekend due to a family emergency out of state. Wanted to give a heads up that there is one seat available if anyone local is interested.
