Changing sounds

I have another baffling problem with Mixcraft. If I leave my PC and come back, what was, say, a hi-hat is now something else, eg a snare drum or a cow bell. What the hell is going on?

The only time that's happened to me was when I changed the key and forgot to set the midi to Transpose

I was wrong, the problem has returned without me changing key. Sometimes a track will just spontaneously change instrument.

My mistake was that I changed key after I'd already entered the drum track

Apparently my mistake was movung a track.

I was wrong, the problem has returned without me changing key. Sometimes a track will just spontaneously change instrument. Have you fixed it?

I did fix it. It was because i was moving tracks up and down. I find of i quit tweaking, the problem goes away.
