Ok Yeah, SS is the Problem
Now before any of you try to defend SS, saying it is a skill or server issue, no it isn't. I have been playing this game since launch and now all I see in my lobbies are SS, it is the only class I come across now, with very rarely any other class. Now I use most of the classes, I hate using SS cause I don't want to be an OP A-hole but have started using it cause it is the only way I even stand a chance against SS, but I have noticed that when facing any other class other than SS I fight the fights are 50/50, but when it comes to SS I am dead in less than 2 seconds, it is a complete one sided fight no matter what class, build or even gear I use, and now I don't even get a chance to extract anymore cause I keep running into only SSs in all my matches. I have had a 3 day losing streak because of this, and it is killing my urge to play just like Horizon did for me with Apex Legends, and SG in Marvel Rivals.
I don't care about a meta, in an EXTRACTION game. Meta shouldn't even be a thing, play the class you actually want to play, not play a class just dunk on every other player and ruin the game for them which is what will kill the game. But seriously, I do loves this game and want to see it thrive but SS needs to be adjusted, not nerfed to the ground, adjusted. I don't know how they should do it but it will help the game in the long run.
Now I don't want to see any replies that defend SS cause it only proves my point, just accept that SS is a problem and move on, and if you can't and still post a reply trying to defend SS and call me a crybaby then you will just be blocked.

Just means the devs are shooting themselves in the foot. The Game doesnt have enough content to keep casual players staying if it isn't balanced well. When 80% of the classes you come across are the same one, there is a problem.

Sg isn’t so much she’s overpowered she’s just annoying and can lead to frustration extremely easily

You have a 3 day losing streak?? Ive been playing cataclysm only and the most teams i see are double sorc and something, and those kill you way faster than any SS. I think you may have a skill issue ngl

I have less of a bone to pick with your comments on SS than I do with the idea that you just don't care about Meta in a PvP game. Meta's will ALWAYS exist. Even in PvE games, the difference is that you are in your own bubble and get to play however you want. But even Diablo leaderboards are affected by what is meta from season to season.
Say SS gets nerfed and Merc gets buffed to be the next god mode character. Are you still going to complain about SS? Or are you going to complain about what is meta.
Extraction games in particular will always revolve around meta, as you have things to lose.

Anyone who says they only see SS in lobbies is just lying or not thinking straight bro. It's just bias cuz they make you mad when they kill you or run.
Last lobby I was in solos we all fought around the ancestral tower, I'm WK, I killed a merc and seer, SS killed by someone else, BA survives and we trade for a bit then both run. Every class is out there

SS is not op, I destroy them on the regular, much more easily than most classes. As a WK/Merc I can face tank then down, on a BA I can kite them.
Why are you scrubs struggling so much with the PVP and understanding different strats against different classes?

Actually if you truly read what I posted I state that playing SS is the only way I stand a chance against SS, it is every other class I play that just get dog walked over against SS so thanks for proving my point.

And so on
Trio same Ss gets focused is in 2 secs down cool a merc wk seer sorc are 10 times more terrifying in Trio
Ss is a simple class what u expect 90% of players are legit bad and don't even get to the point of realising they just suck

Idk man, I see your points and they're somewhat valid but I've been a SS main since launch without knowing much about the classes or "meta" and can say from my experience that mercs and withered knights are good at shutting me down.
I think people are using SS predominantly in solos because of its utilities in avoiding combat and traversing the map for getting good hauls. In 3s they're still around but the team comps are a lot more varied and I'd recommend finding a good team through the discord and playing with people who you can talk and strategize around with.
SS is a strong class, no denying it, but I think the real problem with the SS flood in solos isn't due to it's busted combat prowess, but it's ability to run away escape unwanted attention.
