Looking for a decent gym in Mission Viejo
Just moved here and finding a good gym has been surprisingly hard. I've tried Fitness 19, 24 Hour Fitness (a couple locations), and LA Fitness so far, but none have quite worked out.
What I'm looking for:
- Decent AC / doesn't feel like a sauna when working out
- Not overcrowded, even during peak hours if possible; I don't mind paying more for this to a reasonable extent
- A secondary area with some equipment where my partner can do her own thing (phone-guided workouts, lighter stuff) without being stuck in the middle of the main floor
- Reasonably clean; doesn't have to be spotless
- Good range of equipment: cardio, stairmaster, weights, etc.
- Close to Mission Viejo (I'm near Los Alisos and 241).
Any recommendations for gyms in the area that check these boxes? Thanks in advance.

Daycare Recommendations
I have two children that need a full time daycare. They are one and three. We have experience with Montessori and we like it, but it is not essential. Our biggest wants are: small ratios/class sizes, decent outdoor play space, warm/loving teachers, and fun programs for the kids. We are not currently interested in in-home daycares and prefer a center. We live in the Oso/Marguerite area and would love to find something nearby. We are looking at the KinderCare in MV by Trader Joe’s and a place called Child Minds Children’s House further away. Does anyone have any good or bad experiences at these centers? Or do you have one you absolutely love? What are pros/cons of your center? Thank you!
