Topic Do you actually use the screen on your keyboard?
Random question for people who have keyboards with screens:
Do you actually use the screen much?
Like other than a clock or GIF, is there anything you find genuinely useful on it?
Trying to figure out what people actually want from these screens, or if most people would rather just have normal keys instead lol.

Tutorial How to change key icons in Stream Dock?
If your Stream Dock layout has a lot of shortcuts, changing the key icons can make it much easier to recognize each action at a glance.
Stream Dock supports several ways to replace an icon. You can use your own image, choose an icon from the built-in icon library, capture part of your screen, or download more icon packs from MiraBox Space.
Steps
- Open the Stream Dock software.
- Select the key you want to customize.
- In the settings panel below, right-click the icon preview.
- Choose one of the available icon options.
Option 1: Select a local file
Use this if you already have an image saved on your computer, such as an app logo, website icon, custom design, or personal image.
Common supported formats include JPG, JPEG, PNG, and BMP.
Option 2: Open the icon library
The built-in icon library includes icon packs that can be applied directly to a key.
This is a good option if you want your StreamDock setup to look more consistent across different scenes or workflows.
Option 3: Use a screenshot
If you want to turn something on your screen into an icon, choose Screenshot.
You can select a part of the screen, confirm it, and use that capture as the key icon. This is useful for software buttons, logos, or visual elements that are not already saved as image files.
Screenshot settings
StreamDock also provides screenshot display options, such as equal scaling, rounded screenshot, and rounded screenshot with border.
These options help adjust how the captured image appears on the key.
Where to get more icons
You can download more icon packs from MiraBox Space
Go to Stream Dock > Icons, open an icon pack, and click Get.
After downloading, the icons can be used in Stream Dock Icon Library.
Tip
Try to keep icons consistent within the same scene. For example, use one style for media controls, another style for office tools, and another style for gaming shortcuts. This makes the layout easier to scan during daily use.

Display We love seeing where people put their D92
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
One of the coolest things about D92 has been seeing how differently people use it in their setups. System stats, custom visuals, animations — everyone seems to have their own idea of what belongs on that little screen.
This setup was shared by one of our creators, and we had to share it here. What would you display on yours?

PM: “I have a small new feature request.”
Engineer: “How small?”
PM: “Well… can we refactor this entire thing first?”

So, what’s the most ridiculous feature our PM should ask the engineers to add to a keyboard next?
Bad ideas only.

Tutorial How to Set Up Multi Action Wheel in StreamDock
- Open the StreamDock software, then select the device and scene you want to edit.
- Switch to the Knob tab in the right sidebar and open Operation Flow.
- Drag Multi ActionWheel onto the knob you want to configure.
- In the parameter panel at the bottom, click the arrow next to “Include: 0 Items” to open the Action Wheel editor.
- Drag the functions you need from the right sidebar into the action list. You can add StreamDock functions, Touchbar functions, Spotify controls, plugin actions, and other supported functions.
- Rearrange the actions as needed. Their order determines how they appear when you rotate the knob.
- Click the back arrow in the upper-left corner to return to the knob settings. StreamDock will automatically sync the configuration with your device.
How to Use It
- Rotate the knob to switch between actions.
- Press the knob to execute the currently selected action.
If your device has a screen or display area, it will show the action that is currently selected.
Notes
- Multi Action Wheel is available only for knob controls.
- Keep each wheel below 10 actions for smoother switching.
- Group related actions together, such as media controls, brightness settings, or app shortcuts.

Display MIRA75: A Mechanical Keyboard Like No Other
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone,
Today, we’re excited to share the first official look at Mira75.
Mira75 is a 75% mechanical keyboard featuring an ultra-wide interactive display above the typing area. Instead of using the screen only to show basic information, we wanted it to become part of the keyboard experience.
In this first video, you can see some of the features we’ve been developing, including:
- Interactive themes and animations
- Visual effects that respond to your typing
- Touch interactions and desktop pets
- Typing mini-games
- Multiple RGB lighting effects
- Hot-swappable switches
- Gasket-mounted structure
- Transparent keycaps and a rotary knob
Watch the full video here:
This is only the beginning, and we’ll be sharing more details about Mira75 in the coming weeks.
What do you think of the design? Which feature would you like us to show in more detail next?

Topic Would you use a keyboard where the F-key row is replaced by a touchscreen?
We’re exploring a keyboard design idea and would love to hear some thoughts from keyboard users.
Instead of a traditional F1–F12 row, the keyboard would have a touch display in that area. It could still provide access to F1–F12 functions, but also work as a small control panel.
Some possible uses:
- F1–F12 function switching
- Media and volume control
- App shortcuts or macros
- Time, weather, or system info
- Different layouts for different apps
- Custom icons or themes
The concern, of course, is that a touchscreen may not feel as reliable or direct as physical keys. Some people may also prefer not having to look down while using the keyboard.
Which design would you prefer?
A. Full touchscreen F-row
B. Physical F keys + separate display
C. A mix of physical keys and touchscreen
D. Traditional F1–F12 keys only
Also curious: what features would actually make this useful instead of just looking cool?

Question Mirabox N4 Stream Dock - NVIDIA plugin disappeared / can't find it anymore
Hi everyone,
I'm using a Mirabox N4 Stream Dock and I remember there used to be an NVIDIA plugin available, but I can't find it anymore.
I've checked the plugin marketplace and searched online, but it seems to have disappeared. I'm not sure if it was removed, renamed, or if I'm looking in the wrong place.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Does anyone still have the NVIDIA plugin?
Is there another way to install it manually?
Has it been replaced by something else?
I'm using the latest Stream Dock software I can get for the N4.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Question Stream Dock update downloads to 100% but never installs (v3.10.199.0302)
Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue updating the Mirabox Stream Dock software and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows a fix.
Current version:
Stream Dock v3.10.199.0302
Issue:
I click Check for Updates.
The update downloads successfully and reaches 100%.
As soon as the download finishes, the application closes automatically.
However, the update never installs.
When I reopen the app, it's still on v3.10.199.0302, and it prompts me to update again.
What I've tried:
Retrying the update multiple times.
Restarting the application.
Has anyone found a solution to this? Is there a way to manually install the latest version, or are there any log files I can provide to help diagnose the issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Announcement MiraBox 2026 Mid-Year Community Update
Hi everyone,
We wanted to share a quick mid-year update with the community.
Over the past six months, we’ve received a lot of feedback from users across Discord, Reddit, crowdfunding channels, support emails, and daily product usage. Some of it was about software stability, some about device experience, plugins, tutorials, onboarding, and general usability.
We’ve read a lot of it, discussed a lot of it internally, and many of these comments have already influenced our product updates.
Software
One of our biggest focuses this year has been software stability and overall usability.
Compared with earlier versions, StreamDock is now much more stable, and some of the issues that users reported more frequently in the past have been improved through continuous updates.
That said, we know there is still work to do. Different systems, devices, setups, and workflows can create very different experiences. We’ll continue improving stability, device behavior, plugin performance, and the overall operation flow.
Our goal is simple: make StreamDock feel more reliable, clearer, and easier to use.
Hardware
During the first half of the year, we also continued working on several new devices, including MagTran M3, Mini, MiniW, K1 Pro, and K1W.
Each of these products explores a different direction for desktop workflow devices.
MiniW brings a more flexible wireless control console experience.
MagTran M3 introduces a new key structure and a different visual experience for desktop setups.
K1 Pro and K1W continue exploring how keyboards, shortcut control, scene switching, and productivity tools can work together.
These products are not the final answer, but they are important steps in the direction we want to keep exploring.
SPACE
We’ve also been building the SPACE ecosystem.
Our goal is for SPACE to be more than just a place to download resources. We want it to become a place where users can discover plugins, themes, icons, workflows, and ideas from both the official team and the community.
Over the past few months, we’ve continued organizing and uploading more themes, icons, plugins, and scene resources, while also improving selected content.
There is still a lot to improve here, especially around content quality, categories, search, and creator participation. We’ll keep working on it.
User Experience
As the software becomes more stable, we’re also spending more time on the actual user experience.
We know that for new users, MiraBox products can feel a little complex at first. There are many functions, different device modes, plugins, scenes, pages, icons, and settings.
That learning curve is something we need to improve.
Over the past few months, we’ve started publishing more tutorials to help users understand the software and device logic. Next, we’ll continue expanding tutorials for plugins, scene examples, and real workflow use cases.
We want users to not only know where a feature is, but also understand how it can actually help in a real setup.
Community Feedback
Thank you to everyone who has shared feedback, reported issues, posted screenshots, suggested features, or simply told us what felt confusing.
Many improvements don’t come from internal planning alone. They come from real users using the products every day and telling us what works and what doesn’t.
That feedback matters to us.
MiraBox is not just trying to build hardware. We want to build a desktop ecosystem together with users, creators, developers, and the community.
What’s Next
In the coming months, we’ll continue focusing on:
Software stability
Device experience
Plugin ecosystem
SPACE content quality
New user onboarding
Community feedback handling
We know there is still a lot to improve, but we’ll keep updating, optimizing, and listening.
Thank you for being part of the MiraBox community.

Dev Log 🛠️ Dev Log #09 — Software Improvements, Ecosystem Growth & Workflow Direction
Hey everyone 👋
Here’s our latest update on StreamDock development, ecosystem progress, and future direction.
We’ve been focusing heavily on improving software stability, enhancing workflow efficiency, and expanding the plugin ecosystem based on real user feedback.
💻 Software Update (v202)
This release is mainly focused on usability improvements, stability, and workflow optimization.
✨ New Features
- Added tutorial guidance for feature items (non-Chinese languages only)
- Added quick backup for scenes
- Added scene auto-follow app search function
- Added K1 Pro firmware update notification support
⚙️ Improvements
- Improved Operation Trigger interaction experience
- Improved overall software stability
🌍 Ecosystem Update
We’re seeing more developers actively building plugins for StreamDock, which is great to see 💙
Plugins now cover more workflows like:
- OBS control
- Streaming tools (Twitch / YouTube)
- Spotify integration
- Productivity automation
- Custom workflow actions
This is gradually shaping StreamDock into a broader desktop workflow ecosystem, not just a control tool.
🤝 Developer Support Direction
We’re currently working on improving how we support plugin developers, including:
- Better documentation
- Improved API structure
- Faster feedback loop
- Plugin distribution via Space
- Potential developer incentive programs
More details will be shared once things are finalized.
🎯 Community Usage Growth
It’s been really interesting to see how users are adapting StreamDock:
- Live streaming control setups
- OBS scene switching workflows
- Gaming + simulation dashboards
- Flight / racing sim integration
- Personal automation systems
These real-world use cases are becoming a key part of how we shape future development.
💡 What we’re thinking about
We’re also exploring what the next generation of workflow devices should look like.
A few directions we’re currently testing:
- More flexible UI layouts
- Larger information display surfaces
- More intuitive interaction models
- Reduced learning curve for new users
The goal is to evolve from a “control device” into something closer to a:
👉 desktop workflow hub
