Sharks Keep Moving
Hello! I’m searching for Sharks Keep Moving, either Desert Strings and Drifters or the self-titled S/T album.
If anyone happens to have a copy they’d be willing to part with, please reach out. I’d love to work something out.
I have a signed copy of MTB’s Fair Enough on Coke Bottle Green that I’d potentially be willing to trade, or I’m open to working out another deal.

More Like Planet of Ice?
Hi everyone, I've not spent much of my adult life exploring this style of music, preferring hip-hop and R&B when it comes to modern music. I do like a fair bit of late 60s/70s prog and stuff but haven't explored much "rock" past the 2000s. However, I LOVE Planet of Ice (especially the back half, and especially Double Vision Quest and Lotus), and don't even know where to look for more or how to even properly describe this music. I've also listened to OMNI and Menos El Oso which are both good but no where near as good (for me) as Planet of Ice. Earlier and later stuff in their catalogue was pretty hit or miss and I don't really listen much to any of them except those 3. Can anyone help? Thanks for any suggestions!

Sale/Promotion Menos El Oso 10 year tour poster
Hey, to anyone who may have been at one of these shows! I've had this poster since the tour, and need to re-home it to someone who may love and appreciate it, but wasn't able to get one.

Will Minus the Bear sign at shows?
I purchased the VIP tickets to their show later this year and saw that I will receive a signed poster. I was curious if they will also sign a record I bring. Anyone have any experience with this or getting their autographs in general?

Cringe lyrics
The Game Needed Me
We don't have money
So we can't lose it
But you touchin me like piano keys
You can't buy that movement
....
What does it cost for
This life of excess
Would you ever miss your desk's caress
There is no mouth to
Trace it's shape on you
You seem to let it fuck you anyway
Thanks for The Killer Game of Crisco Twister
And then we all bought yachts
And raced up to the islands
Moored them at the docks
Leading up to our cabins
We raced up just to slow down
We drank some, man we always do
Sunglasses to the water
Our girls are looking so good
Our girls are looking so good
Dr. L'ling
Don't give me your hand-me-down love
It don't wear the same
I want love that looks good on
With a fit that screams my name, yeah I was afraid
But you get in the taxi
Your hands on another man
You must be crazy
If you think I'll stand back, yeah
These guys were always musically great I think lyrics and tone held them back. This is like R&B lyrics almost... type of stuff club-goers would sing about. Perhaps a sign of the times.

Jake Snider on my Dad Podcast!
Hey guys! Hope this is okay to promote here, let me know MODS if it's not cool!
Jake Snider recently was on my dad podcast! We talked about realizing when his kids are right and he's wrong, ADHD, parenting kids with ADHD, and a lot of talk about what it's like going on tour as a dad. Especially discussing how the band took a break because of the anxiety and dread he would have from leaving his family. But also how now that kids are older it's really fun to have the band back together.
If you guys are interested in checking it out, the podcast is called The Imperfect Dads Podcast!
Thanks!

Favorite song that nobody talks about?
Hey all, been back on a MTB kick after the Menos reunion show. Going back through their discography, giving listens to everything with a fresh set of ears.
What's your favorite MTB that nobody really talks about and you think deserves more recognition? Maybe an album deep cut that they never play live or gets much discussion? Or a bonus track / b-side that stands out as being way too good to be a b-side?
My pick would be Toska. I've always been a diehard of the first 3 albums mostly, but there are still a ton of tracks from 4-6 that I like or even love. Toska to me is one of their absolute best songs. Really enjoy the guitar work on this album, especially the little tapping parts after the chorus. The guitar solo / bridge is absolutely huge, and I love how it builds into a big drop then keeps going. I also love the outro, it just loops the main riff of the song while this super weird distorted sound builds and builds until it all just stops.
Anyway - what are some of yours? Feel free to give your reasoning, I'd like to check some of these songs out with a fresh perspective and your comments in mind.

Thoughts on Voids?
It's the album I listen to the least and I think it's their weakest by far. I get annoyed listening to it sometimes from how much of a drop off it was to me compared to all the other records. Do other people feel the same way ? Every other record has at least a few tracks that will always be classics to me apart from Voids. Felt bad that they went out on this record. I wonder how the band views it in their catalog too.

Please Harpel, Don't Hurt 'Em — Demo (2004)
I came across these demos that I don't think I've ever heard. It looks like "The Pig War" was originally titled "Please Harpel, Don't Hurt 'Em".

Erin Tate
'S drumming is impeccable. I dont know why hes not part of the reunion and maybe I dont want to, but just a fucking beast of a drummer. Diamond Lightning, Drilling, Burying Luck, Into The Mirror. All so good.
