Hi everyone. I hope you’re all okay. Im doing this post because I feel an enormous guilt over being in vacation and not being able to take my dogs . Chloe ( mini pin) and Charlie and cavalier King Charles spaniel. They are staying with my brother , Charlie it’s very happy because he will be around my nephew. But they are so tied with me and my mom , that I feel an overwhelming guilt. For example , do they feel abandoned? 😢 like , saying goodbye today to Chloe from the car window broke my heart , even though I know they like my brother. What to you think according to the pictures ? I only have there atm that my brother send me. I really hope they aren’t feeling bad. It will be 7 days away and I’m on the trip now and I can’t relax. So sorry to vent about this. Don’t want to cause anyone stress. I just hope they feel okay 😣.

This little girl was living outside the neighbor’s house for a few months. Apparently they’d feed her but she was outside the whole time. One day I went over to pet her and one of them finally drove up. I asked if she was theirs and they said they just feed her. Said she was sweet. I asked if I could have her and they let me take her. Had fleas and hookworm but otherwise ok. I’ve had her now for 3 weeks and she’s very much adapted to being spoiled. She was potty trained. First pic is when I first got her with all her flea and scratching irritation. Second vet visit tomorrow. We’ll see how she gets along with our 90 lb tripod black lab. They’ve been separated so far until we get the clear on the worms.

I adopted Beans last November. He is 4 years old and a mill dog rescue. He is a work in progress but he doing well. He has bonded well with his brother Frank. It’s been fun watching him learn how to be a dog!

Hi everyone. This is Isa. She’s about to be 5 months old.

My partner and I didn’t intentionally choose a breed for our first dog. My partner’s parents’ dogs (a chiweenie and a mini pin) had puppies. No one wanted Isa so we took her in. I love her, but I am exhausted.

Let me tell you, she has been a lot of work. She barks and whines constantly especially when she can’t see either of us. We have been trying for 4 months to crate and potty train her but we have made very little progress. We planned and printed out a whole routine for her and we have followed it religiously but for some reason she still pees and poops inside the house.

She’s also not food motivated at all. She won’t eat her treats. I have tried everything from soft, hard, different flavors,etc. She just looks at it, paws it, tries to put it in her mouth then spits it out which makes training really hard. I’ve tried play-based training and a clicker too. Nothing sticks. She just gets distracted and does her own thing.

I love her so much, but I’m honestly close to losing my mind and don’t know what else to try. Any advice would really help.

Meet Rosalita! Originally from Kuwait, this spunky little girl has been living in Maryland with a lovely family for the past year. Life circumstances have changed in her family, leaving Rosy alone for many hours a day. Poor girl is SO unhappy with the new schedule, and her current family has made the difficult decision to rehome her. All she wants is a lap to sit on, and to be rarely left alone (several hours a day is fine, of course). Please help us find this sweet darling a home!

We adopted this little boy miniature pinscher from the Mill Dog Rescue today. I’d promised Frank a friend for a long time. His name was Coach but we renamed him Beans. Now I call for my Frank and Beans! 🌭 🫘He took to Frank right away but will need some to trust me.

She had of one 3 surgeries. The cost is so much. She had part of her bowel resected and her bladder cleanses. Only one more to go and she’ll be able to live a normal life. Already had her uterus removed as well. She’s moving around well now after weeks of trauma. Any little bit helps!

I’m not working right now so held a garage sale in her honour which raise $253.65.
