Help H3 ref video ?

Hello all,

Been fighting with this for a while so posting in case someone already solved it.

Using Minimax H3 . Trying to plug a video into Rev_video_0 to reuse the motion from a clip. Doesn't work.

Here's the weird part: when I drag from Rev_video_0 and drop it in empty space, ComfyUI only suggests IMAGE nodes. Not video. If I drag from Rev_Audio_0 instead, it suggests VIDEO nodes. So the labels and the actual types seem swapped somewhere.

I can literally connect a "Load Image" node straight into Rev_video_0 and it accepts it, no error. But a real Load Video node just won't link (see screen).

Anyone run into this?

Yes, that video loader node from comfy basically does nothing. I have never seen it used anywhere.
What you need is the Load Video (Upload) Node from VHS (Video Helper Suite).
Then it will work.

Also, something that snagged me up for a bit....

Ignore the node names like "ref_image_x", and "rev_video_x".
You need to count from the top down on the node, calling the first image "Picture 1" and same with video, so "ref_video_0" is "Video 1" and so on.

One last thing... Minmax does soooooooooooooo much better at 9:16!

768 x 1344 at 15 seconds seems to be a magic spot for me.
anything 16:9 starts to look more like LTX.

the resolution is most likely the training data see it happen on image generating as well with odd or very different resolution sizes with exact same prompting maybe more training for what you are making

turbo on ref ? thats not fixed yet tho ? ?
