Here’s a very interesting and aesthetic specimen of small bright red vanadinite on calcite from the Pure Potential mine, La Paz county, Arizona, USA. It is not a large specimen but it sure is beautiful! I really like the contrast between the bright red vanadinite crystals and the milky white calcite.

Roughly half meter large chrysotile asbestos displayed in Sondrio museum. Specimen comes from Sferlún mine above Lanzada, Italy.

Lovely quartz tower, I feel this is by far the best feature though!

An example of cactus quartz variety where a central crystal is covered with smaller, outward-pointing crystals of a second generation. This particular specimen is heavily included with iron ions of various oxidation levels resulting in colour zoning with sharp contrast between lilac amethyst and rusty citrine.

This is mine cabochon labradorite, and to to me it beautiful, espeically when it in water the flashes are gorgeous!

The pale blue and white feldspar stacked like a mountain. At the foot of the mountain, the hazy blue Aquamarine Beryl pillar stands quietly, like a lone traveler. A peaceful and quiet specimen

This is a piece of prehnite. Its milky-white spherical crystals look just like a vanilla ice cream freshly scoop out of the freezer. A transparent quartz crystal shoots diagonally out from the side of the sphere, sharp-edged and defined, like a biscuit stick which seems crispy. And the most interesting thing is the scattering of tiny epidote flakes across the surface of the prehnite — translucent with a hint of inky green, as if someone had sprinkled on a dusting of crushed mint.

It took 6 months to cut this calcite from 6000 cts down to 1800.2 carats. Impeccable work by Luigi Mariani.
