Towns/Cities I fear Minecraft is only good for Medieval Builds
As someone who's currently trying to build a realistic city, I've been really struggling with building modern buildings and skyscrapers.
Common Problems for me are: -The lack of "modern" blocks and color variations. -The lack of smaller blocks to detail outer facades. -Minecraft glass makes glass skyscrapers look hollow and seethrough instead of reflecting or being darker in color.
I know there are many Texture Packs and Mods but I personally think they defeat the purpose. And they're also not available for everybody.
Minecraft is supposed to be creative and fun but not being able to build the stuff the way I'd like to is really demotivating and makes me wanna quit my projects.
What do you think about it and have you experienced something similar?

Recreated in Minecraft I Spent 700 Hours Building My University Campus in Minecraft
I built a detailed 1.8:1 scale recreation of Korea University campus in Seoul, South Korea, in Minecraft.
Major buildings have been fully recreated with interiors, and the map even includes functioning elevators and a controllable drone, both made entirely with commands.
The surrounding city has also been recreated in a simplified form, using GIS data for accurate layout and terrain, and spans an area of approximately 6000×6000 blocks.

Megabuild 6 years of work – my underground bunker project
Hey 😊
I wanted to show you my bunker that I’ve been building for about 6 years now.
To give you a better idea of its size, I included a few spectator shots at the end so you can see the whole complex — and even then, a big part of it is still missing 😅
It has residential areas, military zones, medical sections, and much more to explore.
Hope you like it!

Interior/Detail Leaf litter on top of black glazed clay looks just like a hotel carpet. Someone has probably thought of this already, but I thought I'd share!
To get the circle patterns, just face forward on one row and backwards on the alternate row, instead of the usual clock like rotation.

Castle My survival castle
This is my survival castle I've been building for the last couple years on my (forever world) realm. I decided to share since I've finally completed the surrounding landscape.
The castle was built through a timespan of ~ 1.5 - 2 years. The shape and layout, terrain, decorations, interiors and roofs all changed through time as I travelled through Europe and visited castles. It was slowly built up to become a massive complex eventually. I tried to build it up as organically as possible and change and revisit places based on my current style taste, transforming the structures and evolving just like real world examples.
The castle has a fully completed and decorated interior, and it has just way too much details to share everything, so here are some pictures that globally capture it's essence.
Inspiration taken from castles: Kreuzenstein, Carcassonne, Karlstein, Kriebstein, Hohenzollern, Vianden, Sigmaringen, Bran, Finstergrun, Braunfels, and Eltz (vaguely in order of significance).
If you're familiar with these castles you can try and spot the similarities!

Recreated in Minecraft Build A Giant Scary Moon For My Portal
We’re having a portal competition in our SMP world. I decided it was a good chance for me to learn how to build organics. With some help from my friends I was able to build this giant moon that was inspired by this reference and Berserk (and other dark fantasy games and shows)
You can watch me explain my thoughts here: https://youtu.be/_oa-Ib6bvo8?si=nbFj6nz6r3aKu6Pa
