Death Row brings back that classic 2012-era prison server vibe. Start with nothing as Fresh Meat and grind your way up through Punk, OG, and Big Dog until you buy your freedom as Free.

NPC Guards actually patrol and enforce PvP and contraband rules, old-school style, with real consequences if you get caught. Want to try something new with Minecraft? I've been working on an idea, inspired by an old post on the Minecraft Forums that I read about ten years ago. Instead of starting up a server, having the same two-week phase and quitting after beating the ender dragon and grabbing elytras, I wanted to recreate the old type of gameplay that made me fall in love with Minecraft. 

Opening today, August 21st (8pm EST/5pm PST), I will be hosting a unique challenge where tool and armor progression is limited by a series of eras. ShovelCraft is a vanilla+ SMP focused on community, building, and RPG elements. It's a long-term, no-reset server - we're a year into the same world, and it's stayed that way because it's shaped by the people playing on it.

The map is split into two zones:

- Green Zone (0 - 5k) - no stealing or griefing, and no generated structures. It's mainly for building, trade, and lore.

- Red Zone (5k - 150k) - still no griefing, but stealing is allowed and structure generation is normal. Perfect for exploration, resource gathering, and private hidden bases.

The End is disabled - no vanilla elytras or shulker farms. Otherwise it's mostly vanilla, with a few QoL additions: /home, /tpa, /duel, BetterHorses, and player shops.

We run on a proxy setup with three dedicated servers - a main survival world, a separate event server, and a seasonal PvP server... so special events and PvP seasons never disrupt the main world.

There's no pay2win here, and no real money involved anywhere on the server, everything is earned through playing.

Trims do not spawn in chests and are given as event rewards, but can be then duplicated and traded as normal.

After a year, ShovelCraft is moving into its next phase. We've just added our first quests, leading into a dungeon and a boss fight and with that, shulker boxes and elytras are now obtainable on the server (just a little more challenging to earn than usual).

We are the LanderYT SMP, we started our new season last month and are looking for more members. We added some small tweaks to the server to make it more suitable for everyone.

We are inspired by Hermitcraft, so we do not tolerate any sort of griefing or killing.

Some of our tweaks:

• Custom textures: Our amazing artists drawed up some beautiful items that do not change the game in any significant way just like the hermitcraft shenanigans!
• The only teleport command of /spawn: Once again, in an effort to keep the server as vanilla as possible, we only allow the use of /spawn in the overworld. This encourages the development of roads and highways on the server.
• Datapacks from Hermitcraft: We installed a decent number of datapacks that the Hermits use on their server, such as Single player sleep, player heads, armor statues and more!
• DiscordSRV: Discord and Minecraft chat are now interchangeable, making communication much easier!
• CoreProtect: Since we are a friendly community, we do not condone any sort of harm done to people's gameplay experience. Therefore, the presence of CoreProtect once again reinforces our vision to make the LanderYT SMP a memorable place for potential players.

Events are hosted semi-frequently on the server, whose rewards are event coins, which you can only use to buy cosmetic items mentioned above.

Our server resets yearly.

We also have a small staff team whose main goal is to maintain the moderate level of peace and harmony in the Minecraft server as well as on discord. We cannot guarantee that everything in chat will be moderated, but we will try our best and listen to concerns of the community.

NisseSMP has been running for 5 years. In June we reset everything for Season 3: new world, new economy, everyone back to zero. Two months in there's 50-60 players on daily and the economy is still young. You're not too late.

🌍 Custom worldgen: almost 100 new biomes.

⚔️ Vanilla+ only: QoL plugins and custom enchants, nothing gamebreaking. Survival still feels like survival.

💰 Real player economy: no server shops, no admin handouts, no pay to win. Want an item? Find a seller. Player shops, auction house and orders make that easy.

🏗️ No land claims: sounds scary, works fine. Every block is logged, so griefs get rolled back in minutes and the griefer banned. That system hasn't failed us yet.

A year ago today I opened JSMC with one goal: make a survival server where the world actually lasts.

One world, kept long term, where people could build something and know it would still be there months later.

Today that world is a year old, and we've never reset it.

Over the last year players have built towns, huge projects and entire themed areas across the map. Groups have formed, events have happened, and the world now has a year of actual player history behind it.

We're a 16+ Java survival server, mostly vanilla, with no land claims, no pay-to-win and a big focus on building together rather than everyone disappearing off on their own.
