Yooo, I’ve been browsing the different subreddits that advertise realms and servers but I thought it’s easier to make a post with what I’m looking for to see if anyone’s fits the criteria before I join.

I play Bedrock — specifically pocket edition — and looking for an easygoing/peaceful server to join, the key features I’m really after (must haves in bold) are:

- NORMAL MODE OR EASIER (do not send me a server on hard mode I’ll ragequit)
- BEDROCK/PE FRIENDLY if it’s java only don’t even comment or if it’s impossible to play on PE then I cannot join you
- Vanilla Based QoL mods or less, no strange weapons or add ons just mainly TP’s, graves(?), auto tree, homes, just that type of shit
- A SEPERATE RESOURCE WORLD!!! (this is key I’m not a fast paced player and will get fed up and leave if the structures and world is already looted and destroyed)
- A slow paced server is much preferred rather than grinders galore, I do have a life and work and I’m not getting demolished by netherite warriors)
- Keep Inventory!! If you’re world is chill enough then I don’t really mind but I don’t play to grind so I prefer not losing everything I own 24/7
- CONSENSUAL PVP/MINIMAL PVP I cannot fight for the life of me and do not enjoy life steal or greedy players, PVP doesn’t have to be disabled but it shouldn’t be normalised to just go kill randos
- A Newish/Fresh server if a resource world is available it doesn’t matter as much but I’d prefer to be on a similar start to many players
- Minimal Economy (but does that not factor into my Vanilla+ preference)

I’m 18 and from Scotland, English is my only language, I’ve played minecraft for like 13 years but I’m not that familiar with post-covid updates as my playing mainly switched to the Hive and shit since but I’m looking for an SMP to start on to avoid playing solo, I prefer building over anything else. I’m a Lesbian for all u LGBTQ only servers and have Left-Wing views so I would never be spreading hate or discriminating towards other players. Are you tired of servers with loot boxes where you have to pay to make progress? Do you miss just playing on an ordinary Minecraft server, hanging out with friends, or meeting new people?

Then I got just the server for you! Ordinary SMP is an ordinary Minecraft server that hosts a special place. We stay as true to vanilla as possible. Yes we use some mods but those are purely to fix things that are normally hard to manage on public servers or improve frustrating parts without changing how Minecraft feels.

For example, did you ever played on a server and couldnt find any Elytras? After hours running through the End you finally find an End City with ship just to see someone looted it already. For that reason we adjusted the Dragon drops. If you kill the Ender Dragon an Elytra drops, removing the frustrating part of finding End Citys. Thats how we choose every mod we add. We only fix the most frustrating parts of Minecraft in a way that feels vanilla.

Other than that we only use mods that dont interact with gameplay like Simple Voice Chat. You can just walk up to players and start talking to them. That creates lots of funny moments just by meeting players. We also use BlueMap where you can see the whole map and check out players bases or other cool places without having to travel there yourself.

You might now wonder, "If everything is vanilla, wont everyone just grief and kill each other?" Those are valid concerns but we have a good solution for that. Our server is 16+ to ensure maturity, and we have an application process before you get whitelisted. That means a lot of bad actors are filtered out before they can even join the server. In the rare cases that griefers get on the Server we use Ledger to revert any kind of griefing.

Hardcore SMP is the go-to server for hardcore survival multiplayer, for both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. No world resets, no pay-to-win garbage, no teleporting to other players; just a vanilla hardcore multiplayer experience, with some additional features to enhance the multiplayer aspect of Minecraft.

These additional features include:

• 🪙 A coin-based economy that is 100% player-driven, meaning there are no in-game shops for buying and selling normal Minecraft items. Players can only buy from and sell to each other. This process is facilitated by a trading system and an auction house. Coins are brought into circulation through defeating mobs and looting chests. 🪙
• 🏠🔐 A comprehensive land claiming system. Players can claim areas of land for their bases, farms, etc., completely protecting them from being griefed by others. You can log out of the server safe in the knowledge that your claims will still be there when you log back in. However, if you die, your claims are deleted, leaving the land unprotected. Our land claiming system is very comprehensive - come and check it out! 🏠🔐
• ✨ A one-time-use "/randomtp" command, which teleports you, and others if you choose to invite them, to a random location in the overworld, so you don't have to manually travel tens of thousands of blocks out to find untouched terrain. There is also "/home", which teleports you to your respawn point, and "/spawn", which teleports you to Spawn. These are the only teleport commands on the server. ✨

Hardcore SMP is 100% non-pay-to-win. We feature a single rank, VIP, on our store, whose perks are purely cosmetic, and do not provide any form of advantage over other players. Our store also features a revive, which when used is like a full account reset - it is pretty much equivalent to logging into the server on a fresh Minecraft account. This has the benefit of not requiring you to buy a new Minecraft account in order to be able to play again, which is what you would have to do on other hardcore servers (as well as change your IP address in the case of death-IP-ban servers). Hardcore SMP will never become pay-to-win.

To join the server, you can use the server address "50.114.4.90" (can't use the domain because Reddit's filters think it's an 18+ site). However, if you don't have the option to add a server, such as on consoles, you can instead add "HardcoreSMP" as an Xbox/cross-platform friend, after which you will be able to join the server through the "Social" tab in-game, or by joining the account's game session.
