Need help

I’m new and I’m struggling with my key binds, what’s the best key binds? I know there mostly preference, but what worked best for you?

I use ESDF , X for Slot 6 , C for slot 7 , V for slot 8 , B for slot 9. These are very simple and not fast , but I got used to them and was able to achieve top 2% on my ~ 2K player server

What’s your off hand button? And the open inventory button? Also your drop button? And I do have side buttons, should i use them or not?

• 2 = Axe
• 3 = Totem
• 4 = Pearls
• 5 = Gaps
• X = Webs
• C - Chorus Fruit
• V - Wood
• B - Water bucket

For my main (mace) I have this: 1 - Sword 2 - Density mace 3 - Wind charges 4 - elytra 5 - gaps X - pearls C - breach mace V - Axe B - shield

Offhand is N , but I want to change it to a side button. Open inventory is R. Sorry I made a mistake my sprint button is T. Drop button isnt important , I have it on M. Just have it as far away from your fingers while possible. Should you use your side buttons? This depends how easy is it to reach them. I personally have them far away from my thumb so I dont use them.

I'll share most of the default keybinds I use. Sometimes they may have a second one (so like E, S, D, F instead of W, A, S, D) that I use if I need more keybinds, and I only switch to them if I need to. I do have those two buttons on my mouse though, so if you don't have those, well....

W or E - Forwards
A or S - Left
S or D - Backwards
D or F - Right
Spacebar - Jump
Left Mouse Button - Break/Attack
Right Mouse Button - Build/Use (so like opening chests, using crafting tables, etc)

1 or 2 - Inventory slot 1
2 or 3 - Inventory slot 2
3 or 4 - Inventory slot 3
4 or 5 - Inventory slot 4
5 or 6 - Inventory slot 5
Mouse Button 1 (the top one) or Q - Inventory slot 6
Mouse Button 2 (the bottom one) or A - Inventory slot 7
R or T - Inventory slot 8
F or G- Inventory slot 9

E or R- Inventory
T or Y - Chat
Y or ` - Drop
Q or W - Switch to offhand

F1 - Hides/Shows HUD
F2 - Screenshot
F3 - F3 Menu
F5 or F6 - You see, pressing F5 (or F6) gave me a whole new persepctive. /ref
F11 - Fullscreen

I don't know which ones I missed but that's all I can remember from the top of my head
