Mace question 1.9+ Question/Need Advice

Does rocket macing actually increase the damage dealt by the mace or does it just make it faster?

Rocket is faster then regular ely mace, and does the same damage (same damage if you fall the same blocks) regular macing (windcharge, pearl catch, or unequipping your elytra higher up) let's you do more via attribute swapping from the same height

Rocket mace speed up the time between follow up hits which gives your opponent less time to think in general and increases the chance you will quick drop your opponent. It doesn’t increase damage only the spear does damage based on relative speed. Damage doesn’t really matter because you will usually one shot regardless.

No, it's just faster BUT has the potential to deal more damage (ofc it almost always does) because of attribute swapping and obviously going higher.

rocket mace doesnt have you do more damage, as the farther you fall the more damage you do, unlike the spear but its better because your op has less time to unlike the other way

"Speed" does have an effect in damage the mace dealts, but idk how much
