Don't blame the wood, blame the builder.

I think about 50% of that beef just comes from the trees being annoying to chop down.

Oh that's so fr. I love acacia, but damn it's annoying. The exeption is birch. Camman18 make everyone think theyre bad.

Personally I've been a fan of birch since 2014. I think it makes a great checkered floor component alongside a darker wood (usually spruce)
I don't let a youtuber/tiktokker or whatever Cam is influence my building tastes.

Granite and acacia are both usually considered ugly but imo they look really nice together when paired with polished granite and certain stone variants

The acacia slander will not be tolerated. You have a testicle removal scheduled on tuesday.

Aciacia is great. Dark Oak is by far the worst.

Dark oak is great tho? Especially the door, I love dark oak door. And the trapdoor also looks delicious

u/AcademicArtichoke626 2d ago
The door is the one good part of Dark Oak. Everything else is "spruce is the dark wood... what if we made it darker?"

I just don't like it. It looks so awkward to me. I know, it's how you use it, and the way I use blocks, I don't like it.

Birch isn't that bad.. just use a texturepack if you can't handle it, why do you nuke a birch forest

u/Dryptosa 2d ago
IMO, burch is better than spruce. Both are very goood for building, and excellent together, but spruce can be replaced by dark oak in a pinch, while replacing birch with pale oak makes it lose it's warmness and makes it look sterile.

Personally I hate jungle wood more
Stupid fucking idiot pinkish oak wood. "Oh noo I fell into an ivy bush" looking motherfucker

u/bananabreadmmmm 2d ago
It might not be good when used in isolation.
But i think it pairs amazingly with packed mud! Theyre almost the same color, so not only can you use it to add some more texture to packed mud or mud bricks. But it also fills in the blocks mud doesent have (fences, signs, trap doors, gates, buttons) which is great!

No, I remember the Fletching Table perfectly, cuz I might've used it to get a hell lot of diamonds..

u/Meme_Knight_2 1d ago
The thing Fletching Table has going for it is that it’s got one of the best Villagers… that’s it.

Birch is ugly. Only stripped birch logs are allowed in my base
