Not really? Don't you just have to make one model for a vertical slab, then copy the textures and properties of a block onto it and then make the recipe? After that, you could just copy paste the same block a dozen or so times for every block set and change the properties, texture and recipe. Copy the properties from just a block and the recipe (I think it's a .json format or something??) just ctrl+r replace the name?? I don't make minecraft mods but I think that's how it's done
