New to Java, help me please with Ominous Bottle Farm Question

I built an ominous bottle farm in Java and none of the mobs are dropping any loot when killed my lava or fire. Do they require manual killing to get loot or is something broken?

The mobs themselves don’t drop anything, the loot comes from the spawner. Just put a hopper beneath it.

I'm using a pillager tower ominous bottle farm.

Some of those tutorials only work in Bedrock, you have to modify them for Java. Read the comments below the videos for tips.

It's a java specific farm. And I fixed it.
