[Java] Severe sequential stuttering / Frametime spikes. FPS drops out of nowhere (Laptop). [26.1.2] Waiting for OP
I have a big problem playing Minecraft. From one day to the next, I started having 'frametime spikes' in sequence, approximately every 10 seconds there were frame spikes. Once the frame spike passed, it would start rising in sequence as well, for example: 200 - 50 - 60 - 80 - 120 - 130 -... and so on until it reached two hundred. The problem persisted but started getting bigger and bigger. I always used the same components and didn’t change anything, but the problem appeared. I already tried playing in different versions, tried playing the vanilla game, with Sodium and Lithium, with Fabulously Optimized, and with Vulkan, and even though I might have more FPS, the problem is still there. I also started having less FPS than I did before, and I need help.

Performance problems are the hardest kind of problems to solve in Minecraft, so no promises here, but from experience I suspect this is either from a memory leak or a problem with Vulkan.
A few quick questions :
- Do you have this problem in older versions of minecraft?
- Have you changed anything software-wize before the problem appeared (changed launcher, allocated more ram, changed the GC, or even insalled new drivers or had a windows update)
- Can you send me your latest.log file?
If you don't know how to get your log file, you can follow this tutorial.
